Suzanne Trent returned home, completely exhausted.
After practicing on the Wire all day, she patiently waited for a taxi by the roadside since there was no need to hurry. By the time she finally arrived home, it was already past ten o'clock at night.
Fortunately, Abigail Trent's kindergarten had a children's dormitory. Although they did not advocate leaving such young children to stay overnight, she felt relatively at ease when she couldn't make it back in time.
After entering the house, Suzanne didn't even have the energy to take a bath and collapsed directly onto the sofa, wishing she could just sleep like that.
She closed her eyes for a while but couldn't sleep without taking a bath. Forcing her eyes open, she groped around on the sofa for a while and picked up the remote control to turn on the TV, hoping the sound would keep her from falling asleep too quickly. She planned to just lie there and rest for a few minutes before taking a bath.
