Amelia was still in surprise when she took a seat in the middle of the bus. She blinked and looked at South Wesley, who sat expressionless beside her.
He immediately raised his hand to pull up the shade on the window next to her, blocking out the harsh sunlight outside.
Suzanne Trent, who had watched the whole scene, noticed Amelia and South Wesley already sitting together as she got on the bus. She then turned to Mason King, who had accompanied her onboard.
The two exchanged glances; she had a gossip-filled and excited look in her eyes, as though she had noticed the budding romance between Amelia and South Wesley. However, Mason's gaze remained calm, as if nothing had happened. He casually pulled her to a seat by the window closer to the front, not allowing her to join Amelia and South Wesley's row.
"I can sit at the back. Let Auntie Taylor and Uncle Peters sit in the front row," Suzanne said softly.
