Chapter 32: The Outcast

When it was finally time to leave school, Chloe Collins was in no hurry to go.

On the one hand, it was because of messages on her phone; on the other, she didn't like squeezing through the stairs with others.

Her sense of smell was as overly sensitive as her hearing, and without anything like a hearing aid for it, she would get a whiff of all sorts of odors in crowded places, especially in summer. The complex mix of smells would get on her nerves.

There were quite a few messages, but she picked out the most important ones to read—

[Heijii: Boss, things are going as you predicted, all is progressing smoothly, they certainly won't be able to sign the contract within these few days~]

After chatting for over ten minutes, she got up and left.

The teaching building had quieted down, barely anyone was in sight.

She still didn't take the elevator, casually descending the stairs.

Almost reaching the first floor, merry laughter floated up from below.
