I did not have much expectations. Out of the new novels that WN are pushing to users, this is the only one that had a summary which kept original names. This story is hilarious! If you're into exaggerated comedy then give this a chance. It also becomes serious at certain parts depicting themes such as how men treat women, family relationships, etc. I couldn't wait for WN to publish more chapters so I actually read ahead from MTL... this story is worth supporting! The FL is strong and for the most part reasonable but she's not perfect. I don't care much about the ML though... maybe I need to read more to feel differently about him but he has been abusive, condescending, manipulative... you hopefully get the gist.Hopefully the translation quality stays the same or improve and WN doesn't randomly change names, etc. for the this story!

Amazing story ...... the mystery behind FL pregnancy and character design of ML and FL really make people asking for more No harem drama of older generation but will see for younger ones.

I hve completed the mtl version of this novel and I hve lived the story. till the very last chapter there is suspense .keeps u hooked. I really enjoyed it.

Very cautious here... I'd hate to get my hopes up!! FL seemed pretty stupid at the beginning, then it became clear that she's just not on the same wavelength I anticipate lots of fun as modern and antiques (wee pun!) clash and all the mysteries are solved.fingers crossed

i don't like the ml character. He just use a woman as a tool to become the emperor and has no respect to female lead at all.

The story is very standard for this genre. The biggest unique selling point is the FL and her family.. The story has the usual lost and found daughter trope - the Dad has several concubines who run rampant while main wife (FL's mother) suffers from depression .... But there's no long drawn out drama, Dad wholeheartedly supports his main family ... ML is the usual Jerk found in most novels - cold hard, controlling and devious..... Difference is FL is equally shrewd doesn't fall for his manipulations and mind games.... The author's done a good job of mainta the good family relations in the FL's family while exploring the motivations, intrigues of the royal family especially the emperor and ML.... There's not much romance. If you're expecting the FL to be swept away by the ML's overbearing attitude and fall head over heels - she never does.... And that's why this novel reminds me of "The Job of the Imperial Concubine" a lot.

Love it!!!!!!! It was a great novel ! I really recommend it!

First few chapters i thought its boring but then as i read along i got so entertained and it kept me wanting to read more. I just love the way the fl character. Shes not weak and shes not taking any abuse or nonsense from anyone even from the ml. Most of all i love the JIANG family. They are all mighty and contributed greatly in the story! Im only at chapter 179 so i have more to read! It will costs a lot of money to read them all! 😢. Sadly i might not be able to read all chapters as its so expensive. I can cope with 300/500 chapter but a thousand will cost me arms and legs!
