It's not bad just not for me. This MC is too much of a Gary Stu. Not only that but it's also pretty boring and it feels like his lowkey modo is bound to fail because he just saves people when they're in danger and that puts him at risk. Not only that but he seems too attached to "Friends" who seem to just be taking advantage of him. I really just don't like the mc his kind approachable nature seems to contradict his lowkey goals and I'm not a fan.

It isn't bad, I originally only planned on reading this for five minutes to get the voucher, but now i already reached chapter 38, the story so far has been pretty well written, but i'd have to read further to have a gauge on world building and other aspects, as for story development, so far i felt that there isn't a coherent overarching story line besides main character earning enough money to further advance his relic crafting skills.

I have only read around 30 chapters and from that, all I can say is that MC is a pushover, and the story is the same as many novels that have immortal MCs nothing new or unique.

This is from a reader who has read the MTL translation, gave up, and found this translation... it's exactly the same, maybe they rename a few things, but the translation quality is not good. names are often swapped, and sometimes a character's name goes from it's actual translation to it's Chinese version... it's just not good. Plus, the story isn't the best either, mc goes through it extremely slow, and the title is misleading. the title instead should be "My Master Only Levels Up when he is dying from old age"

good novel 👍🏼. once in a while, the recommended novel for free pass is a gem and this novel is one such novel. it's good and stable but quite slow paced. it also focus more on slice of xianxia life instead of pack full of adventures. i like it but maybe it's not someone else cup of tea.

good story and decent translation in the early chapters but after that it gets confusing. Still a fun read, especially early on. Tho later wrong chapters from other books start appearing, then gender is inconsistent and names as well.
