"Mr. Chester, Madam says she's busy right now and doesn't have time to meet with you. The weather is cold outside; you should go back first," the butler said, seeing Chester Yale's pale face, he couldn't help but remind him.
Upon hearing this, not a trace of surprise appeared on Chester Yale's face. Instead, he approached the butler with composure, "I know Mrs. Yakov doesn't want to see me right now, but if you pass on a message from me, perhaps she might change her mind."
Chester Yale leaned in and whispered something in the butler's ear, prompting a change in the latter's expression.
"Please wait a moment, Mr. Chester. I'll go and tell Madam right away!"
The butler vanished beyond the gate and returned quickly, his manner urgent as if fearing that Chester would leave if he was too slow.
He ordered the guards at the door to step aside and approached respectfully.
"Mr. Chester, our Madam is now available. Please come in," he said.
