The butler was concerned about Grace Yakov's health and, upon hearing that she was willing to eat, quickly had the kitchen bring up the prepared snacks and chicken soup.
"Mom, try this snack. It looks delicious to me." Evelyn Sherman picked up a piece of pastry and shoved it into Grace Yakov's mouth.
She also hurriedly reached out to grab the chicken soup, fearing Grace Yakov might change her mind about eating.
"Evelyn, let it be, I'm not a child, I can do it myself." Grace Yakov slightly frowned, knowing her daughter was worried, but her expression turned gentle.
She took the pastry Evelyn handed to her and tasted it.
After finishing a piece of pastry and drinking half a bowl of chicken soup, she finally took a tissue to wipe the corners of her mouth.
Looking up at Evelyn, who had been watching her eat, she asked, "Can you now tell me how you dealt with Sheldon Yale?"
