"Dr. Collins, I'll consider what you've said..."
Though Lily said this, she seemed somewhat distracted.
Her mind was filled with various deformities she had found online these past few days.
Some of the children born with deformities suffered from intellectual disabilities, congenital defects, and even missing an organ or having distorted features, with heads that were either larger or smaller than normal.
All in all, the horrifying photos and data made it impossible for Lily to consider keeping the child.
Even though she loved him, just the thought of him coming into the world was daunting.
If he were to be healthy, even with minor issues, Lily wouldn't be afraid.
But if the child were to suffer from severe congenital deformities,
he would face a harsh and realistic world as a deformed individual for a lifetime.
The pain and the unusual stares this child would endure were unimaginable to anyone else.
