Chapter 20: The Truth Often Hurts

"I only saw you hitting someone."

Joshua Sulliven's expression was emotionless, his voice cold, only his eyes firmly locked on Keira Leaf.

Keira secretly sneered. So what if she hit someone?

She just kicked her, and she wouldn't have done it if she hadn't provoked her!

"What is Young Master Sulliven talking about? When did I ever lay my hands on someone? It was your little sister by your side who did it. I just moved my foot a bit." Keira explained with a smile, her eyes forming two crescents, which made her look indescribably adorable.

Joshua just looked at her expressionlessly, showing no reaction to Keira's attempts to please him. His narrowed eyes carried a hint of unfathomable depth that Keira couldn't understand.

Keira couldn't help but feel uncomfortable under his gaze and finally gave in, "Alright, anyway, it's my fault for moving my foot. What would you like, Young Master Sulliven? Just say the word."
