"You really have some guts." Joshua Sulliven chuckled coldly; his laughter contained a hint of danger that made people shiver.

Feeling his increasingly cold tone, Keira Leaf's heart clenched. Her arms tightened even harder around his neck, with the sweat on her arms and his neck sticking together. This made Joshua involuntarily furrow his brows.

It wasn't that she refused to let go, but she had just said that she would definitely cling to him like a plaster, impossible to shake off. If she let go now because of his few words, Keira was sure that either he would make her disappear from his sight forever or never let her live a peaceful life.

Joshua's patience was reaching its limit. His big hand gripped her arm, and Keira instinctively jumped up, her slender legs tightly wrapping around his waist to prevent him from throwing her out. For a moment, she hung onto him like a koala bear.
