Chapter 54: Joshua Sulliven, I Hate You

Joshua Sulliven furrowed his brow and let her go, standing up to pour her a cup of water. He felt that he must have owed this woman in his past life, as he now had to serve her!

He tested the water temperature and then lifted Keira Leaf's head with one hand while passing the cup to her mouth with the other.

With her eyes closed, Keira gulped down several mouthfuls of water before collapsing onto the bed again, seemingly falling asleep in an instant.

Casually placing the quilt to one side and tucking her in, Joshua suddenly found the situation extremely ridiculous.

He had lived for more than twenty years, and people had always served him. Yet today, he was waiting on a woman, and not just any woman, but an unclean one!

Speaking of which, Joshua thought of Stuart Truman's words and realized that this little thing still belonged to him alone. His gaze softened a bit.
