"But... I still need to sell wine."

Joshua Sulliven stopped in his tracks, turning to look at Keira Leaf with a flushed cheek, and said sternly, "Say that again."

Seeing his obvious anger, Keira quickly wrapped her arms around his arm, "Don't be angry, I was just kidding."

At her words, though Joshua's face didn't look any better, his anger lessened a little, and he walked forward expressionlessly.

Keira discreetly studied his expression before tentatively speaking again, "If I can promise not to drink and not have any contact with men, can I... continue?"

"What you do has nothing to do with me, don't be so narcissistic as to think I'd really care about your life!" he scoffed, threw Keira's hand away, and turned to leave, apparently quite upset.

This damn woman! He tried to care for her time and time again, but she never appreciated it!
