Chapter 93: The Afternoon as Time Flies By

The sun was directly overhead, its strong rays penetrated the highly effective curtains, scattering a warm and ambiguous light inside the room. Dust silently floated in the air, each speck creating a refraction of colorful light and shadow.

In the room, only the sounds of passionate panting and effort could be heard. Someone was sweating profusely while another was lost in the moment.

Two hours later, Keira Leaf lay limp on top of Joshua Sulliven, weakly grasping his big hand and complaining, "This is so unfair; you men always end up refreshed after this, while us women feel like we're dying."

Joshua rubbed her head, flicked away some cigarette ash with his other hand, and raised an eyebrow, "Oh? Why do you feel like you're dying? Didn't you say there was a malfunction with the 'parts'?"
