Chapter 102: Just like this, you don't trust me?

Keira Leaf leaned against the wall, gasping heavily, her cheeks flushed as she greedily sucked in the air. The teardrops hanging on her eyelashes added a pitiful charm.

It seemed that after the outburst, Joshua Sulliven's anger had dissipated quite a bit. Looking at the little thing in front of him that made him feel both love and resentment, he softened his voice and said, "So you're unhappy because I didn't get as emotional as Ronald Loman?"

Keira looked down at his chest, her two little hands gently grasping a delicate button on his shirt, unwilling to look up into his eyes.

Joshua glanced at his wrinkled shirt that she had grabbed and returned his gaze to her face. Under the dazzling lights, the two teardrops on her cheeks were clearly reflected in his eyes. He reached out his finger to gently wipe away the unshed tear droplets on her face and whispered softly, "So you don't trust me, huh?"
