Chapter 212: Breaking into People's Homes and Dreams

Walking into the bedroom with light footsteps, a white figure lay on the bed, faintly visible in the silent darkness of the night.

Joshua Sulliven groped around for a while and turned on a dim orange lamp. As the lamp lit up, it cast a warm orange glow over the small room, giving him an inexplicable feeling of warmth.

He sat gently on the sofa and observed the small room. It wasn't big; in front of a small sofa stood a small tea table, across from it was a big-head TV, next to the TV was an old-fashioned computer, and Keira Leaf's bed was half a meter away from the computer.

Despite very few items in the room, it looked fully occupied and unusually compact. He glanced at the small bed, oddly shaped dolls taking up more than half of its space, but it was in a surprisingly harmonious proportion with the figure on it.

Looking at Keira lying upside down on the bed, Joshua walked over, flipped her over, and lifted her up, placing her head on the pillow.
