Chapter 394: Big Hand Holding Little Hand

Joshua Sulliven reached out to take a rose, paid for it, and then handed it to Keira Leaf.

Keira's fingertips trembled slightly, she glanced at Joshua and then shifted her gaze to the rose in front of her, slowly raising her hand to take it.

Although the color and shape of the rose were passable, they were not particularly good, absolutely not on the same level as the blue roses displayed in the room. However, when Keira held it in her hand, she clutched it tightly, only loosening the grip a little when she felt a slight pain from the thorns on the stem.

By the time Keira came to her senses, Joshua had already walked away. She stood still, somewhat lost as she watched his retreating figure, and then hurried to catch up when he turned around impatiently to look at her.

The silence between them resumed as before, the only difference being the additional rose in Keira's hand.
