"Miss Leaf, please come over for makeup." Keira Leaf was about to talk to Joshua Sulliven to clarify the situation, but the makeup artist interrupted her.


Right away, she reluctantly glared at Joshua, who looked innocent as if he had no idea what he had done to offend her.


Keira huffed and walked past him with a puffed-up face, making sure to step on his foot as she passed by.


Joshua, worried that his standing there could cause the long trailing wedding dress to trip her, decided to move out of the way.


Unexpectedly, their movements collided, and Keira, who had just stepped on his foot, stumbled and nearly toppled over to one side.


"Ah--!" Keira couldn't help but cry out, instinctively protecting her stomach, fearing something bad might happen.


Joshua furrowed his brows and his heart lurched for an instant. They were already close, so he easily pulled her back, his hand accidentally landing right on Keira's chest.
