Chapter 914: Can the Future Be Bright?

Keira Leaf couldn't help feeling heartbroken as she looked at Joshua. Why was he so calm? How could he accept his blindness so peacefully?

Noticing that she was crying, Joshua Sulliven furrowed his brow and spoke again, "Don't cry."

"Okay," Keira Leaf nodded in response while snuggling close to him, but her tears flowed even more fiercely.

Joshua's frown deepened. He lifted his hand, which was connected to many tubes, attempting to wipe away her tears, but after searching in the air, he still couldn't touch her cheeks.

Joshua's hand, suspended in midair, became somewhat stiff, and his opened eyes grew a shade darker.

Just as he was slowly intending to retract his hand, Keira quickly reached out with both hands, grasping his and gently placing it on her face, "I'm here... I'm right here..."

"Am I so useless now that I can't even do something as simple as wiping away your tears?" Joshua spoke softly, his fingertips damp.
