Chapter 1171: The Waves Behind Drive on Those Before in the Yangtze River

Flames continued to spread over Toni Armstrong's body as he lowered his head to watch the fire consuming his clothes, his gaze dark and ominous.

Aunt Mandy glanced at the flames on Armstrong's body, rose unhurriedly from her seat, and reached out to pull off the tablecloth from the table. In an instant, the myriad pots and jars on the table toppled over, scattering in disarray.

Aunt Mandy stepped forward and covered Armstrong with the tablecloth, quickly smothering the flames on his body. Then, standing in front of him, she looked at his slightly charred clothes and, with a lift of her mouth corner, she smiled and said, "It seems the new waves of the Yangtze River push forward those ahead. You do have a commendable grandson."

Without waiting for Armstrong to speak, Classmate Howard Adams beside them started wailing loudly, seemingly terrified.

"Shut up," Victoria Carter said, looking at him with a flash of disgust in her eyes as she watched his tears and snot run down.
