"You see my actions as monstrous, but you have not an inkling of idea– The type of decisions someone in my position has to make daily, to keep this Universe running. How easy it is for you to judge something you can't begin to comprehend," he retorted sharply, not feeling guilty at all from her biting insult.

"You're just deflecting from the fact that you won't listen to other's opinions," the Goddess pointed out staunchly. 

Wiping a stray tear from her face, she said, "Sky was right, you know. He could've calmed those factions down, if you would just let him have a little time. That's what he does. He's the best diplomat these Realms have ever seen. But you were more concerned about whether these gods liked you."
