The Rabbit Shifter

Tuzi looked almost embarrassed as she replied, "You know things that I do not. I think you can help me with something."

The huli-jing's curiosity was definitely sparked. "What information would you like to know…?"

"Oh, you don't have to agree to it right now," the woman responded quickly, shaking her head. "I will free us first. And if you choose to help me afterwards– Well, you have some time to decide."

YuXin was now beyond curious. The urge to know was prodding at her. But priority first– Did she really want to die here by fire, come morning? Ugh… Certainly not. She could think of better ways to die than becoming a roasted fox.

"Okay then…" YuXin answered cautiously, not wanting to lose her chance at escaping. "How can you break us out of here…?"

"So you agree!" Tuzi practically purred this statement out, so satisfied with the outcome. "Let me get us out of here then."
