The rabbit shifter sat back on her heel, carefully contemplating the words. "But… Why are they warning us…? Why are they angry…? Did we do something to them…? If we had a peaceful relationship before, I want us to have that again. Where we can be friends, and Mr. Reindeer doesn't have to be afraid of them anymore."

Bowing her head slightly in shame, Tuya, the newest member of their family spoke for the first time, "I– I think it's because we are here… The former Rising Moon tribe members…"

Her words brought a pause to everyone at the table, who looked in her direction with curiosity.

"Sweetie," Golun started in a sugary tone that he reserved only for his wife. "We are happy that you've joined our tribe. If you didn't, we would've never met. This matter has been settled months ago. What's wrong?"
