Taiga sat across from Tuzi, as he willed his heart to calm itself from the intense pounding that escalated, from the moment they made physical contact.
He quietly observed the woman before him, who it also seemed was struggling to contain the turmoil within. Myriad of conflicting emotions splayed across her face as she wrestled with each one; Trying to decide upon which sentiment her heart will land upon.
Her indecision ate at her.
With Taiga's body in such close proximity, the fragrance of his musky scent sent her head into a tizzy. His essence was intoxicating as he smelled like a citrusy combination of bergamot and lavender. She wanted to lean into him and inhale his scent as it lured her in like a helpless moth to flames.
She had to firmly remind herself that he was her enemy. That he was the very man who caused the conflicts which plagued the New Moon tribe and its citizens for years now.
