A Deep-Seeded Resentment

Wanting to allow her some privacy while she ate, also to prevent the awkwardness of him staring, Taiga's eyes began to assess the classroom environment.

Sunlight streamed through glass windows, illuminating the generously-sized classroom. Here, a hundred students could sprawl out comfortably at low floor tables, each surrounded with shared seating cushions. Brushes, small paper booklets and scrolls, along with books were organized neatly on shelves waiting to be picked up and used.

Adorable stick drawings by children were pasted up and nearly filled entire walls. Each creative image was its own masterpiece– A testament to the creative minds that were nurtured here.

Overall, from what Taiga could clearly see, this was a space created with care and love.

"Wh– What are you thinking about…?" Tuzi inquired with some curiosity, as silence had ensued in the room.
