She clung to the beast's neck, anticipating his next actions of violence. Yet it seemed that her words somehow pacified him– As he was no longer raging.

Tuzi hoped her words pierced through the armor of the Lycan– That their meaning would by some miracle trigger Taiga's memories.

Listening to his ragged breathing, Tuzi counted through nerve-wracking seconds, wondering if he had somehow heard her. 

Gently, not wanting to startle him, the rabbit shifter patted him softly on the side of his head, murmuring delicately, "Taiga…? Are you alright now…? Do you hear me…?"

Though she received no response from the beast, Tuzi accepted the silence as positive affirmation. Perhaps once he is fully sated, the Lycan will shift back into her Taiga.

Carefully, she released her grasp on him and slid from his shoulders.
