The clock's steady beat filled the room, casting a haunting gloom and chill across the room. An old man sat hunched over a blank book, his deep eyes gleaming with an unsettling intensity and despair.



The lamp's soft glow cast eerie shadows on his face, while a warm cup of coffee sat untouched beside him. His body trembled as he held a pen in his hand and whispered;
