In the heart of the kingdom of Vidya, a formidable army of 4000 soldiers marched in unison, their determined footsteps resonating like thunder. These warriors, resolute and battle-hardened, advanced on foot, for the kingdom had imposed strict limitations on the use of horses and elephants in civil wars. Instead, they relied on their strength, their weapons, and their unwavering resolve.

Amid this imposing army, a figure emerged who should never have been present – Venugopal, the elderly agricultural advisor. He had been driven to this perilous path by a consuming desire for revenge, sparked by an incident that had left him deeply humiliated. In the presence of his subordinates, his pride had been crushed, and he now sought retribution.

He suddenly presented himself in front of the Mantris and started kneeling and introducing his name.

Venugopal: (kneeling) "My respected Mantris, I come before you today with vital information that can turn the tide of this war in your favor".

Mantri Harishendra: (skeptical) "Information? What kind of information, Venugopal"?

Venugopal: (desperate) "My lords, I was gravely insulted by that young upstart, Vijay, the son of Vaishakhnandan, in front of my subordinates. He used dark magic against me, I swear! I couldn't stand such humiliation".

Mantri Vasudevan: (raising an eyebrow) "Dark magic, you say"?

Venugopal: (nodding vigorously) "Yes, Your Highness. He used forbidden arts against me. I can reveal all the military secrets of Hampura, the weaknesses in our defenses, and the strategies we plan to use. With this knowledge, you can easily crush them".

Mantri Harishendra: (leaning forward) "Are you saying that you will betray your own land for revenge"?

Venugopal: (pleading) "My lords, I only wish to see Hampura fall and Vijay's life ruined for the disgrace he brought upon me. In return for my information, I request a high position in your land once you've achieved victory".

Mantri Vasudevan: (sharing a glance with the others) "Very well, Venugopal. We accept your offer. After this war, we will reward you handsomely for your assistance".

Venugopal: (smiling deviously) "Thank you, my lords. You won't regret this decision. Together, we will bring down Hampura and that insolent boy, Vijay".

However, what these Mantris leading the army were misinformed by Venugopal. Having covertly shared military secrets with the enemy forces, he believed he was providing them with invaluable information. Little did he know that his treacherous actions were based on outdated knowledge. Unknown to him, Vijay, had already orchestrated a revolution within Hampura's army. His innovations had birthed new weapons and ingenious strategies that the enemy was unaware of.

The Grand Hall of the Royal Palace buzzed with anticipation as ministers and officials from across the Kingdom gathered for the unexpected court session. Whispers filled the air, speculating on the reason for this sudden summon. The original court session on the issue of black magic was supposed to occur in two days, so the urgency of this meeting intrigued everyone.

As the ministers took their seats, they couldn't help but murmur amongst themselves, their voices growing louder as they speculated about the purpose of this extraordinary gathering. The absence of King Rajendra only added to the intrigue.

Suddenly, the massive doors to the hall swung open, and there stood King Rajendra, accompanied by the Royal Physician Vaidya Bhaskar. His presence silenced the room as all eyes turned to the monarch. The King's expression was solemn, hinting at the gravity of the situation.

Vaidya Bhaskar, known for his wisdom and mastery of the healing arts, had been conducting an experiment related to the issue of black magic. His presence in the court only deepened the curiosity of those in attendance. Everyone wondered what results the physician would present and what counsel he would provide.

The tension in the room was palpable as the court session commenced, and all awaited the revelation that would follow.

King Rajendra's heavy sigh echoed in the grand courtroom as he settled into his ornate throne, his brow furrowed with deep concern. He wasted no time and quickly inquired about the current progress of the war against Hampura. His voice, usually calm and measured, carried a note of urgency.

In response to his inquiry, a messenger, clad in the kingdom's livery, stepped forward. This messenger was known for his punctuality and reliable information. With an air of responsibility, he began to deliver the dire news. The enemy forces had, indeed, begun their march toward Hampura. What was more alarming was their pace; they were advancing swiftly and were expected to reach the borders of Hampura by the dawn of the next day.

As these words hung heavily in the air, the King's frustration began to surface. His fingers drummed anxiously on the armrest of his throne, and he muttered under his breath, cursing their lack of time. Even with their fastest horses and the bravest riders, they would be unable to reach Hampura before noon. By then, he feared, everything might be lost, and the consequences for Hampura could be dire.

Amidst the King's internal turmoil, Royal Physician Vaidya Bhaskar, known for his dedication to medicine and unwavering commitment to his patients, stepped forward. He had been conducting extensive experiments, and today he came bearing crucial findings.

With a grave expression, Bhaskar began to share his discoveries. He explained that he had taken it upon himself to study the properties of alcohol in-depth, conducting numerous experiments on countless patients to prove his hypothesis. The courtroom was hushed, with every eye fixed on the physician as he spoke.

What he revealed next sent shockwaves through the assembled ministers, advisers, and courtiers. Alcohol, the very substance that had been shunned and vilified due to its association with black magic, had demonstrated antiseptic properties beyond what anyone could have imagined. It was a revelation that challenged deeply ingrained beliefs and traditions.

Gasps of surprise and remorse rippled through the courtroom as the implications of Bhaskar's findings sank in. The realization that they might have unwittingly condemned a substance that possessed genuine medicinal benefits weighed heavily on their hearts. The court now faced not only the imminent threat of war but also the unsettling possibility that they had been wrong in their judgment.

As the murmurs of astonishment and regret filled the room, King Rajendra contemplated the complexity of the situation. The court was standing at a crossroads, and decisions would have to be made swiftly to address the impending crisis.
