Chapter 230: Will You Cry Alone

...

Anna Jadwin flipped through the documents and some old photos from the past.

One photo showed Peter Cameron fighting with her father...

It was raining heavily, and a black umbrella was blown aside on the dock.

With blood coming from his mouth, Peter Cameron grabbed Mr. Sullivan's collar and threw a series of punches.

"These old photos were not easy to find," Wayne Bailey said, crossing his long legs, lighting a cigar but not smoking it, and staring at her with interest.

Anna Jadwin's body felt cold. Were the relations between the Camerons and the Sullivans not as good as they appeared on the surface? Why would their sworn friends fight in the past?

"The date was XXXX, XX, XX, just a month before the incident in the Sullivan family," Wayne Bailey said, gazing at her deeply. "Do you want me to call a witness?"

Anna Jadwin's breath hurt, "How could you find these in just a few hours, especially when they were so difficult to find?"

"Maybe it was fate?"
