Chapter 280: You're back

Opening the main gate, she felt the cold atmosphere of the house hitting her face, and Jane Sampson couldn't help but sigh standing at the gate entrance.

James Black hadn't come home yet.

The one-month deadline was up, she hadn't come back, and neither had he; there wasn't even a phone call, it seemed he really was infuriated by her.

Dust was visible everywhere in the house; a single touch and there was a layer, obviously, no one had been here this past month.

Exhausted from just getting off the airplane, Jane Sampson didn't have the energy to clean. She went into the kitchen and gave it a quick clean with her not-so-dexterous left hand.

She was hungry, but didn't know what to eat, so Jane Sampson decided to just make do with bucket noodles.

The bucket noodles were what she had just brought in from the small grocery store at the community entrance; doing anything with one hand was inconvenient, even boiling water for instant noodles took more time than usual.
