Chapter 369: Giving You a Gift

Since she was going just for a week, Jane Sampson's luggage wasn't big. She brought a 22-inch suitcase, which felt feather-light when picked up.

"What did the doctor say about your hand?" James Black asked as he was about to take Jane Sampson's suitcase out the door.

"It's nothing serious," Jane replied, even stretching out her empty hand and waving it in front of James.

A hint of amusement appeared in James Black's eyes as he took her still-waving hand into his palm. With one hand he led her, and with the other, he carried her suitcase out the door.

As the car left the residential community, the day outside had already brightened, with street cleaners already at work. Looking down the long street that seemed to have no end, spotlessly clean, it was a sight that lifted one's spirits.

It wasn't until then that James Black suddenly spoke up, asking Jane Sampson, who was evidently in a good mood playing games on the passenger seat, "You're coming back after a week this time?"
