After Mother Sampton had finished speaking, Jane Sampson laughed in frustration.
"Mom, did Julie ask you to talk to me?" Last time at the clubhouse, Jane had noticed Julie's crush on Thomas Lancaster.
Every time Julie saw Thomas Lancaster, her eyes nearly glowed with admiration.
"What does it matter who said it? Isn't it all the same?" Mother Sampton retorted.
"It is all the same, I'd refuse either way." Jane tapped her finger on the desktop, "Whether it's Mr. Forest or Thomas Lancaster, if Julie Sampson has the ability, she should pursue them herself instead of hoping Jane Sampson would help her matchmaking. She should forget it for her whole lifetime."
With that said, Jane continued, "Mom, did I forget to tell you last time? Anything related to Julie Sampson, do not involve me, because I won't interfere."
With those words, Jane hung up the phone directly.
And then she muttered to herself in her heart.
