"Let's go and ask her. It's one thing to take advantage of you, but why push you out too?" Coco Edwards just couldn't swallow that indignation.
"I can't be bothered," Jane Sampson shook her head, "I don't even want to exchange a word with such a two-faced, venomous person. Even if I asked, I doubt her answer would make me feel any better. So, what's the point?"
Jane just sat there, refusing to budge no matter how much Coco tugged and pulled, dead set on not moving.
"Forget it, I understand you," Coco gave up after a while, feeling deflated. "I'm this angry, I can only imagine how you feel."
Seeing Jane simply nod her head with a slump, Coco asked again, "So what do you plan to do? Just let her keep jumping around in front of you? How can someone like that still have the face to come crying to you in the makeup room this morning, begging you?"
