"I'm not going to talk much longer, I'm going to check on how he's doing." Mair Williams was just holding back those emotions, wanting to vent to someone. After speaking, her heart felt much more comfortable, and she happily headed to the kitchen to find her new boyfriend.
After hanging up the phone, Jane Sampson tossed her mobile phone aside, put on her shoes, and went to the kitchen.
As she approached James Black from behind, she poked her head around to look, "Tomato beef noodles again?"
Jane Sampson asked.
James Black pressed the little head poking from beside his arm back and said, "There's no beef in the refrigerator, so it's tomato egg and pickled vegetable noodles."
"So you're saying, there's not even a bit of meat?" Jane Sampson frowned, "I was hoping for Cola chicken wings."
"There's none," James Black refused in a detached tone.
Huh!
Men!
Jane Sampson secretly rolled her eyes.
Everyone else's are always just that little bit better.
