"You know?"
What did he know?
Freya Morrison tightened her jaw, her fingers curling slightly, nervous inside, but her face remained composed. She looked at Oliver Charles, her gaze flashing with complex emotions, and after a moment, she let out a bitter smile and asked, "Even if I tell you, what difference does it make?"
Oliver Charles stared at her and then opened his mouth to speak, "Heno didn't accept you, so you came back directly. What about Alex Tonkin, though? Did he say anything? Or, what about the university—can you still pursue your master's degree?"
Originally, Freya Morrison had been recommended by her university for a master's program.
Hearing Oliver Charles say this, Freya Morrison immediately realized that was all he knew.
She lowered her eyelids and said, "I can't anymore."
