"I'm not paying!"
Freya Morrison couldn't hold it in anymore.
She was not one to withhold her feelings; her boldness was evident when she stood up for Iris Thompson against others while in school.
As soon as those three words were said, everyone in the room looked over.
Lucille Zellweger incredulously asked, "What did you say?"
What did she say?
Freya Morrison scoffed.
She lifted her head, no longer meek, her eyes clear and striking. She fixed her gaze on Lucille Zellweger, and slowly began, "First off, I didn't wet the clothes, the guest accidentally knocked over his water glass and wet himself. Secondly, the clothing was merely water-soaked without any damage. Even if I were responsible for the spill, I shouldn't have to compensate for the clothes! At most, I could help him dry them, otherwise, I'm not paying!"
She slowly enunciated each word, startling everyone in the room.
