She spoke lightly and paused, uncertain if she was comforting Enna Clark or convincing herself.
"Actually, lots of little stars in the entertainment industry rely on sponsors before they make it big. Once they've made it, they part amicably with their sponsors, and either look for better ones for their careers or get married and follow their life plans. With Adam Sinclair and me, finding a better sponsor seems out of the question. But I could consider the latter; I can't go on like this forever."
