Allen Rivera was slightly stunned before regaining his composure. "Thank Jane McCain?"
"Right." Aria Jackson agreed. "If it weren't for Jane McCain bringing this up, cracking this case would have been tough."
"And the Black Rose case," Purple Summers added, "Even though it was a fake rose, it contributed to Clearwater City's case-solving rate. We should thank her."
Aria Jackson said, "Let's have a meal together. Allen Rivera, you earn a lot, living alone with no family, what do you need all that money for? It's time to treat us!"
The two went back and forth, and Allen found no opportunity to interject.
"My money may be plentiful, but not as much as Purple Summers'," Allen said. "It wouldn't even cover one card game for her husband."
Purple Summers spread her hands. "But I didn't put Jane McCain in prison."
Aria Jackson also hurriedly cleared herself of any involvement. "Neither did I."
Allen was silent for a while before he gave up the struggle. "Fine, I'll treat."
