"You mean I should change my identity?" Daniel asked Diaz rhetorically.
"Yes, man, that's the only solution," Diaz replied to Daniel confidently.
"Do you even have a glimpse of what you are asking me to do?" Daniel asked Diaz, who furrowed his brows at him.
"You are asking me to wipe away my entire twenty-five years of existence," Daniel said to Diaz, his voice filled with anger.
With that statement, Diaz scoffed before standing up from the couch.
"Yes, Daniel, I'm asking you to wipe away your twenty-five years of existence—the twenty-five years in which your criminal record shows that you are criminal," Diaz said to Daniel firmly while peering into his eyeballs.
"I don't think I can do it; how am I even going to face my mother after changing my identity?" Daniel asked Diaz, who shook his head disapprovingly.
