The disappearance of Catherine had struck Jerry in the veins.
He has been a shadow of himself. He couldn't eat or get any sleep through out the whole night; the thoughts of something bad happening to Catherine wherever she was kept on hunting him.
As he was sat in the sitting room lost in his thoughts, he was brought jerked back to reality by sound of the knock on the door. After some seconds, he grumpily stood up and walked to the door. Once he opened the door, he saw Jackson standing in front of his door. From the look on his face, it was clear that he didn't sleep through the whole night.
"Good morning Jerry, how are you doing?" Jackson asked Jerry, who gave him a serious look.
How could he ask him how he is fairing while both of them are facing the same problem?
"Don't worry, Jerry, I already know how you are feeling. Can I come in?" Jackson asked Jerry, who nodded positively, leading Jackson inside the sitting room.
