The New System
Looking at the piece of rock in front of him, Jack touched his chin. The seal was at the peak of the Soul Transformation Realm; with his current strength, he could not damage it.
Even though Heaven's Way Technique was extremely powerful, the gap between realms was too wide. Fighting across small stages of the same realm is possible, but fighting a big realm above is too difficult. Not to mention, Soul Transformation is several big realms above him.
Quickly calling the Blood Sea Puppet, Jack ordered it to come and visit him. Technically, Mike controls the puppet; if Mike orders something contradictory, the puppet abandons Jack's order and follows Mike's command. Fortunately, Mike is one of Jack's own creations, so there is no chance of betrayal.
"Your honor? Do you have any business with me?" The puppet, still looking like a young boy with red eyes, appeared.
"Open up this seal," Jack ordered. The other Perfection cultivators weren't paying attention to the puppet at this time, so it was the best time to do these things.
"Yes, your honor!" The puppet waved his hand, and the seal turned to powder.
Looking like a farm girl with an ordinary face, Cedric dropped to the ground with no reaction.
"Remove his mask!" Jack ordered.
"Yes, master!" The puppet obeyed and again waved its hand. It wasn't necessary for him to wave his hand; it was just a gesture most immortals have. They either snap or wave their hand when doing simple tasks. The puppet, as a creation of Master Blood Sea, inherited her way of thinking to some degree.
The naked farm girl in front of them started to melt. After a few seconds, what was left was a man in ordinary clothes, still not reacting to anything.
The puppet was far stronger than the guardian; it could easily pass through Cedric's armor.
1,100,000 armor is enough to defend against any attack from a Soul Transformation cultivator, but it is nothing in front of a Perfection cultivator.
Converting the power system of Cedric's game with this world is no easy task, but it is possible if one ignores a few inconsistencies.
An armor of 10 can defend against all attacks by mortals.
An armor of 60 can defend against all attacks by an Energy Gathering cultivator.
An armor of 250 can defend against all attacks from Core Formation and below.
An armor of 1,800 can defend against all attacks from Nascent Soul cultivators.
An armor of 8,200 can defend against all attacks from Divine Soul cultivators.
An armor of 40,000 can defend against all attacks from Substance Soul cultivators.
An armor of 100,000 can defend against all attacks from Multiple Souls Realm cultivators.
An armor of 400,000 can defend against all attacks from Void Soul Realm cultivators.
An armor of 800,000 can defend against all attacks from Soul Transformation Realm cultivators.
An armor of 4,000,000 can defend against all attacks from Perfection Realm cultivators.
Even the best body armor can only add 1,000,000; the system may look extremely overpowered, but against Perfection Realm cultivators, even the best equipment would fail to help much. One must not just think of 4,000,000 as merely five times higher than 800,000; that is misleading. In fact, an armor of 4,000,000 is countless times stronger than 800,000. In Cedric's game, increasing points gets harder as one progresses, so adding +1 to 1,000,000 is far harder than adding +1 to 100.
"Wake him up!" Jack ordered.
The puppet waved its hand.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA," immediately after regaining consciousness, Cedric started screaming wildly at the top of his lungs.
"Remove the memory of the time he spent in the seal!" Jack ordered.
The puppet waved its hand and accomplished the task easily; these tasks were too easy for him.
"Hmm? Who are you? Where am I? Did I transmigrate again?" Cedric looked around confusedly.
"Hey, Cedric! I just want to say I am impressed by your system; okay, that's it! Blood Sea, forcibly extract all of his memory, then kill him!" Jack said he didn't need to interrogate Cedric; the puppet could read all his memories.
"Wha…" Before being able to say anything, Cedric felt the world spinning and then darkness.

Looking at the data crystal, Jack sighed. He had already reviewed Cedric's memories.
The developer system is indeed extremely powerful, but unfortunately, it has an upper limit.
Below Perfection Realm, the system is very overpowered, but as one's strength advances, the system becomes less and less useful. Still, it was very helpful for the current jack; with this system, he can immediately gain the strength of the Soul Transformation Realm.
It is nearly impossible to achieve Perfection Realm power using this system. One big issue is that anything created by the system can't be used by anyone else but the system's user. If not for this limitation, Jack could have coded countless strong armors to create armies of Soul Transformation powerhouses.
He took out a piece of charcoal from his space storage. It was pure black, just as one might expect from charcoal. But this one was special; it contained the developer system.
Now, Jack was sure the system and everything were fine and safe to consume.
With a bit of strength, Jack crushed the piece of charcoal.
"Congratulations! You absorbed the 'Developer System!'" his system prompted.

Jack smiled widely when he saw the 'System Upgrade' phrase.
Not intending to wait any longer, he tapped 'Claim reward'.
The system interface was blurred; after about 10 minutes, it returned to normal. Its appearance was not very different after the upgrade.

Jack scrolled down; there were over 10,000 different side missions. He didn't choose one; instead, he opened the temporary task list.

This event and the main Brown family's gradual weakening over the past 400 years have contributed to a lot of chaos within the Owens family. There were over 1,000 temporary tasks. Again, Jack scrolled and didn't pick any; he was just looking. He had to think deeply about which one to choose later.
Before this upgrade, system points were not very useful because Jack's main problem was not the lack of points but his incomplete cultivation technique.
However, after the system upgrade, things changed.
Jack looked at the Grandpa section.

Jack smiled; if he had enough points, he could have dominated the world already. Grandpas are completely loyal to him and completely dependable. The prices were also very good. Just with one glance, Jack concluded that buying anything besides a Perfection grandpa was a waste.
For example, the price of a Perfection grandpa was only about 16 times higher than that of a Soul Transformation grandpa. But, in pure strength, a Perfection grandpa is hundreds of times stronger than a Soul Transformation Realm cultivator. So, he decided to save his points to buy a Perfection Realm grandpa later.
Then, he tapped on the last system that appeared after the upgrade, the one with (...).
A new screen appeared, one with a blank space and a keyboard under it.
"Coding system!" Jack thought. This coding system is probably his biggest gain; if he utilizes it well, he may be able to achieve perfection in firepower.
