Supreme Alchemist

The title of this novel is grossly misleading. At first I thought an alchemist MC with vast knowledge and techniques from his past life slapping faces with supreme level pills conjured from thin air. Instead we got a Chu Feng MC that happened to be very good at alchemy plotting his revenge against those who killed him in his past life.Good thing about this novel: A Chu Feng MC in revenge mode is always a good thing. But the fast pacing of the story line is what makes the novel even better; a refreshing turn against all those slow-paced xianxia novels here who only wants to pad character numbers.Bad things about this novel: The author likes to pull quite a number of plot-armor asspulls in Chu Feng MC battles. Plus the clichés in this xianxia novel are very numerous, just look at the picture below. The alchemy part of the novel is inadequate too in quality.

This isn't badly written but it's such a cliche I'm surprised no one has been sued for plagiarism and copyright infringement. Honestly I don't mind cliches but I'm just tired of the same old premises.

Started strong, but quickly fell to the stereotypes widely seen in this genre. Less about alchemy, more about fighting and dispatching your enemy for any reason, at first sight.

a very generic story so far I read up until 22 chapters. It's not worth investing time
