Chapter 4: Slaying Demons (2)_2

After completing all this, Komer was not at ease. He glanced behind him and saw that Ilot had perfectly cast a disturbance spell—"Phantom Residue"—using the Magic Scroll he had tailor-made for himself. Ilot successfully transformed into two images of himself, a spell that held no value for any warrior or knight with a rudimentary understanding of Elemental Magic. The two images, circling the ogres at high speed, allowed Ilot's darkly gleaming great sword to occasionally pierce the ogres' bodies. Although the strikes were not immediately lethal, with Ilot putting all his Inner Qi into the effort, the tip of the great sword was already showing a faint shadow, which was enough to inflict damage on the bodies of the ogres.
