Volume 25, Rowing against the Current, Chapter 16, Rescue Challenge

Komer, clad in his voluminous black robe, sat in the room alone, the dim environment seeming to impart a sense of tranquility and peace. At least, that's how Komer felt as he sat quietly, thinking of nothing yet encompassing everything in his mind, his thoughts wandering to the farthest reaches, his spirit journeying thousands of miles. At this moment, he could allow his mind's musings the chance to stretch infinitely without any fetters to hinder their flight. With his eyes half-closed, his mind would sometimes become clear, at other times a chaotic maelstrom, and this illusion of a moment lasting a year brought Komer great comfort.
