Chapter 127: After a Decade, Brother, I Have Come to Find You Again

28th of the lunar year

The festive atmosphere was becoming thicker.

Streets and alleys were filled with kids playing in new clothes; the street was lined with colorful lanterns and decorations, and Doris Clark asked Brother Callum to go buy New Year's goods.

Then it was all hustle and bustle, with lots to do, such as cleaning the house inside and out, bustling all day until it was just gone.

In the evening, the Brother Callum stood outside the door, looking at Doris Clark inside and shouted, "Mom, are you sure you don't want to come with us?"

"No, you guys go have fun."

"Alright then."

There was a fireworks display by the riverside tonight, so it was very lively. Before it even got dark, crowds were gathering towards the riverside, including the Brother Callum.

Because of the annual fireworks display, sharp-nosed vendors had already set up stalls along the street, selling all sorts of snacks, toys, and fireworks.
