"Well...shit..."

[Time skip - 5 minutes later]

"Huff...huff...huff...well nothing I, huff, can do I guess..." I said, recollecting myself quickly. Looking around the mess I made with telekinesis I noticed a shack in the distance. "First stop I guess..."

[Time skip- 5 minutes later]

"Huh, I'm not sweating, Transcendent Humans are awesome!" I said, reaching the lone sight of civilization in the vast desert. As I opened it I saw a strange sight. A few men, basically skeletons, scattered around the room. Around the rest of the room there are things here and there, like a broken radio, random nick nacks, and a shotgun.

"Cool! Another good base of operations!" I say, casually grabbing the skeletons and pulling them outside with telekinesis.

"I know that Gamers Instinct is good for keeping your mind clear, but this is kinda pushing it..." Nex said, sounding a bit worried.

"No, I know what you're thinking, but it's not like that." I said, pulling the skeletons around a dozen meters away.

"How?"

"These guys were staying in the middle of nowhere, are dead, and it indicates premeditation." I explained, using a bit of telekinesis to dig a decent sized grave. "That means they pissed someone either very important, or very powerful off." I finished as I pushed the guys skeletons into the grave. "Besides, I think bairly anyone in this dessert is any kind of good person, before or after whatever happened here."

"That's...fair." Nex said, sounding divided on whether or not to agree or not.

"Are you...new to this?" I asked, hearing an adorable yelp in response.

"Wha!- NO!- I mean!- maybe..." She rambled, stumbling over her words until peetering off at the end.

"Haha, don't worry about it, we all gotta start somewhere, right? So why not start with someone new to all of this?" I said, trying to reassure her.

"Right, you're right, thank you Issac!" Nex said after recollecting herself.

"Anyways, time to make this place mine!" I said, pushing the durt back over the mass grave.

[Time skip - 1 day later]

(Junkie pov)

"Come on, I saw sand get kicked up from this direction and heard some screams. Maybe it's from some kind of fight that went down! Let's get over there and see what we can scavenge!" I said, dragging Gerry along with me.

"G!- Why the hell do you- Ge!- want to go to a battlefield- Ger!- that only ended recently?- Gerry!" Gerry asked with the same strange shudder of his.

"Come on it's been about a day! This is our best chance to get another fix, and fast!" I said, dragging him over the last hill to the area the battle was held. What came into view was a large area covered in large gashes in the ground. Though, all of the gashes are centered around a single spot.

"We- Ger!- should get out of- Ge!- here, whatever did this has to be dang- GERRY!- dangerous." Gerry said, starting to back away.

"Come on man! You worry to much! If there's only one of them and two of us then we have an advantage!" I said, getting gity at the thought of another fix of Jet with a med-x and vodka whiskey chaser.

[Time skip - 10 minutes later]

(Issac pov)

*Ding ding!*

'Hm, the detection spell I placed outside are going off? Wonder who it is?' I thought, placing my tools on the desk and grabbing the shotgun I modded.

.....

Magic Hunting Shotgun (Rare)

- Compressed slugs of Arcane energy when used by a magic user.

- Can swap to scattershot when desired and track enemies, though it has the downside of having a 25% decrease in damage.

.....

'Let's see who they are first.' I think as I activate Lurk and open the door.

"Come on, it's right there!" Came a man's voice.

"Yes, I see- Ger!- it! Now can I stay- G!- here and you go die trying to steal from- GERRY!- him!" Said another man, stuttering out someone's name for some reason.

"What the fuck..." I mutter, slinging my shotgun under my arm. 'The first sounds gity, yet frantic. The other sounds a bit clearer but still a little jittery. They're junkies...' I conclude, already knowing these kinds of people.

"Come on! Just one good thing and we'll be set for a month!" Said the first, confirming his conclusion. As he listened to their bantering over coming and going he finally saw them...and yeah, they were definitely junkies.

The blood shot eyes, ragged clothes, needles scars, and shaking. All of that was not a flattering sight. Enough for me to bring my gun back up and fire in front of them.

*BWOOM!- BOOM!*

The thunderous sound of my shotgun rings out as the two are covered in a brief sand storm of dust. As the dust settled I saw the first one holding a 1911 and the other one holding a switchblade.

"Sorry 'bout that! Just had to get your attention!" I shout, joy in my tone as I lower my gun and wave my hand. "I know that's not the best way to get someone's attention, but you were 'bout to go walkin into a minefield there in a few feet." I say, pointing at the outline I put in the sand for...other things...

Their eyes went wide and they looked down at the line, then at eachother, then to me. "W-we-we just wanted something to help get some food man!" The first guy said, trying not to sound like he was reconsidering his life choices.

"Sure! I have loads of things I don't use anymore! Just stay there and I'll bring ya somethin!" I said, really getting into the whole, 'friendly yet crazy redneck in the middle of nowhere' vibe. I walk back in and look at the random things I made lying around, thinking on what to unleash into the world.

"Heh, that should do!" I say as I grab one of the things I got from the gotcha.

.....

Lucky Ring (Epic)

- Increases Luck by 100

- Grants Luck Events to npc's

.....

I decided to grab a few miscellaneous pieces of jewelry and some guns that seemed alright. I shoved them into a bag and walked back out. I saw the two still standing where they were, whispering to eachother before snapping up to look at me.

"Here are some of the things I've come across before settling down here. Don't need them, and figured you could use them." I said, pretending to walk in a distinct pattern around the 'mines'. The men watched my steps carefully, not trying to hide the fact that they were going to sell that info if my stuff is good.

"Here!" I said, holding out the bag and watching them debate whether to take the bag and leave or to try and shank me before running off with the rest of my stuff.

The second guy grabbed the bag and turned to his friend, "Let's just- Ger!- get out of he- ry!- here!" He stuttered, dragging his friend behind him. Only until after watching them walk over the dune and out of sight did I turn and just walk back to my base, not caring about the path I took the first time.

[Time skip - 30 minutes later]

(Junkie pov)

"I still think we should have killed him and taken everything he had." I said, sulking.

"And you don't know what- Ge!- he had for traps in the- erry!- there!" Gerry growled, finally opening the bag the guy gave us. "GERRY!" Gerry shouted, wide eyed at the contents.

"What!- HOLY SHIT!-"

"..."

"...we have to get to the Gun Runners and Mick and Ralf's" I said, grabbing the bag from the slack jawed Gerry and starting to run.

(Issac pov)

"Hehe, I wonder if they'll get good or bad Luck Events?" I wonder aloud. "Meh, it'll still be funny to see if they come back, now, time for some grinding!" I say, using I.D. create.

.....

Goblin Cave: Level 1-25

Orc Village: Level 26-50

Gang Hideout: Level 51-75

Military Base: Level 76-100

Lich's Crypt: Level 101-125

.....

"Let's start off small." I mutter, picking the 'Goblin Cave' and watching as a familiar door opened next to me.

*WHOOSH! pop!*

[Time skip - 3 days later]

"That should be enough." I comment, kicking the corpse of some no name gang bosses corpse. "What's this?" I say, seeing a twinkle come from the guys corpse.

.....

Ebony and Ivory (Legendary)

- A pair of high caliber pistols, though incapable of coming close to the original, one is still able to imbue the bullets with the energies of the user's choice, or just fire the energies themselves.

- Can hold the energy for a single powerful shot from both. (Requires a cool down of 1 minute)

.....

"What?" I say, picking up the pistols.

"HOLY SHIT! I CAN FINALLY MOVE INTO A DIFFERENT FIELD OF MAGIC! HELL YEAH!" I shout, raising both hands into the air and firing the guns with the new demonic energy.

*BABABABABABABABABABABABABABABABABANG!!!*

[Time skip - 1 day later]

*Thump!*

"Why do they keep running!" I shout in frustration as I fall to the floor after the last failed attempt. "I have all the steps right..." I said, remembering the steps.

.....

1. Make a magic circle to channel the magic

2. Sacrifice something living or sufficient enough blood to the circle

3. Do some chanting to make a demon answer

4. Make a deal with the demon

5. Profit

.....

"But they all keep appearing, screaming, then running away! WHY!?!?" I shouted again, flailing my arms and legs like a bratty child.

"It's your race." Nex spoke, making me freeze in place. My limbs slowly lowered to the ground before I sat up in a perfect 'L' shape and asked,

"...what?"

"Your race, or rather, the way you obtained your race. I remember you skimming through that large collection of books on gods a while back, you should take another look through it." Nex supplied.

"What? How am I going to find two gods out of billions?" I asked, not knowing what she wanted me to do. Nexs' only respons was opening my inventory and flopping two books out onto the floor. The first books cover was titled 'Primordial Gods of Creation' and the other was titled 'Eldrich Compendium'.

"And these are where the gods will be?" I asked, grabbing the first book and trying not to look at the other...for some reason.

"These are the one's I narrowed it down too, if they're not the ones then we'll need to look deeper, but these are the most likely places you'll find them." Nex explained.

"And this will tell me why the demons keep running away?" I asked, sitting down at the desk and opening the book.

"Probably, I mean, most Eldrich beings are things that no one wants to meet." Nex informed as I started to read.

"Fair." I replied before dicing into the information.

[Time skip - 1 week later]

(Random Gun Runner pov)

"And you said he lives right over here?" I ask the junkie that came running to our shop over a week ago.

"Yeah, the guys armed to the teeth with some real nasty stuff." He said, pointing to the last hill he mentioned.

"But you don't know what it is?" I ask, remembering that they didn't actually know what was in there.

"Well yeah, but the guy had a shotgun that shot rounds almost like a grenade launcher!" He shouted, pointing to the hill he's been dragging me towards. I look back at the other guy's that were sent along with me and shrug.

"I mean, the guys brought back some real good guns with them, might as well see if it's real." Said the first guard, it was reinforced with a nod and a grunt from the second guard.

"Haaaaaa...fine, let's get this over with-"

*THOOM!*

We all stopped as we heard what could only be described as a mix between a C4 charge and a plasma grenade going off at once, but several times louder. I look back and shout,

"Let's move! I wanna see what the hell just made that noise!" I shouted at the rest of the guards that were with us.

[Flashback]

(Issac pov)

"I have three in mind for the primordial. They're Atum of Egyptian mythology, Ymir of Norse mythology, and Phanes of Greek mythology." I said, writing the three on a board I bought from the shop. "The ones for the Eldrich beings are the King in Yellow 'The Mad Poet', Cathulu 'High Priest of the Great Old Ones', and Azathoth 'The Blind Idiot God'." I said, writing the last three on the other side of the board.

"I have reason to believe that they're the last of each." I concluded, crossing out the previous gods.

"Why do you say that?" Nex asked, wondering how I got to that conclusion.

"Well," I started as I picked up a pen to mark down the points. "With the whole unconscious fiasco, I figured that Azathoth was the only one that could meet me in a dream." Marking that point down I moves to the next. "The next point is that I didn't make contact with the others in their weird council, since that would mean I'm some kind of insane, which I'm not." I continued, making a perplexed experience at the council part.

"At least I'm pretty sure I'm not...meh!" I say, dropping the thought and moving on. "Lastly, he shifts reality by moving in his sleep, so me being close to him in a dream would make sense, since I'm a being that moves through realities. Being unconscious for me would, theoretically, be like sitting in the limbo between worlds." I finish, outlining all the parts of my thoughts.

"Plus, I'd be insane or spouting poems if it was one of the other two." I say, thoroughly shedding any chance of those two.

"Alright, I'm convinced on the Eldrich part, but why the primordial one?" Nex questioned.

"That's kind of a stretch, but Atum and Ymir didn't really care about much after they were created beyond doing what they were made for. Ymir, less so, but his kindness is more focused on the giants if anything." I stated, doing the same thing I did with Azathoth. "Phanes is a god that came from the world egg and birthed creation along with himself. He, from what I can interpret, actually cared about everything after creation."

"OK, but why would he save you?" Nex questioned again.

"That's a stretch too, but I think he just liked the fact that I punched a being of destruction in the eye. Hense the Primordials Favorite title." I explained, looking at the title.

"Alright, that's fair, what do you wanna do now?" Nex questioned.

"Too them? Nothing, I just need to keep building defenses up and become more powerful." I state, staring at the board of the two gods. "Speaking of defenses, I need to see what I'm up against, and what I need to do to get out of this place." I said, grabbing my shotgun and walking outside.

"God damn it!" I say, annoyed, but mostly curious. As I finish saying that a gunshot goes off to my left, as I hear it I activate Third Eye and Increased Processing. As I do that, I see a, bullet? Meh, activating Telekinesis I stop it and look at where it came from-

"GGRAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!" Came a loud garbled war cry, and looking at the sorce I see, an Orc? Observe.

.....

Name: GGRAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!

Race: Super Mutant

HP: 350,000/350,000

SP: 250,000/250,000

Ranged Attack: 10,000 DPS

Melee Attack: 25,000 DPS

Skill: Centaur Command

- Allows a Super Mutant to command a group of Centaurs to fight with them.

.....

"...why the dentist thing with the mouth?" I think, dodging another bullet as I see a glob of something fly towards me. Dodging that too I see it leave a sizzling hole in the ground where I was. Growing tired of this, I raise my shotgun and blow the Super Mutant's head off, or try to-

"GGGRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!" It screamed, waving over his shoulder and pointing a finger at me, I see an almost literal hoard of Super Mutants and Centars come over the hill.

"Well,"

*SWISH!!!*

"Might as well see what these baby's can do." I say, pulling Ebony and Ivory from my inventory and starting to charge them with a mix of Arcane and Demonic energy.

[Flashback end]

"Woooooooo! That's what I'm talking about!" I woop, pulling holsters from my inventory, slapping them onto my legs ,and holstering the guns.

"Now, what did they have?" I said, yanking all of the items into my inventory. "A lot of Centaur blood, some shitty guns, and a...bumper sword?" Pulling the sword out I see a...literal bumper made into a sword. Shrugging, I put the sword back into my inventory and pull the corpses into the clearing.

"What are you going to do with them?" Nex asked.

"I'm going to use them for some experiments I have planned." I said, pushing the corpses into my inventory as well. I turn to go back into the shack and feel a presence on the other side of the hill, I debate calling out to them, but I decide not to and just walk back in.

"You know they won't leave after this, right?" Nex comments.

"I know, I just don't feel like talking to corporations and stuff-"

. . . . .

. . . . .

"...Well...shit..."
