Her brown hair swished back and forth as she walked, the edges of it tracing the natural arc of her spine. Her curves stood out despite the thick coat she wore. I didn’t think anything could hide her feminine form, ripe and voluptuous.
Since the moment I saw her brandishing that flaming stick while surrounded by massive wolves, I couldn’t get her image out of my head. Her chestnut eyes were alive with her fire. Her bravery and loyalty toward her sisters stood out like a monolith in a field of battle.
I felt a dull ache then, but that feeling only grew stronger and stronger the longer I was with her. Her scent filled my nose, consuming all else. All I could see or think about was her, and it drove me insane.
I should have been concerned that three rogue shifters, none of whom were able to shift yet, were found inside my territory with Dryden’s warriors chasing after them. Anyone with even a hint of intelligence could tell these women were terrified of them.
