"Wow… how are you even able to summon and control runes as a mortal? Even beyond that, you never told me your control over runes was so granular."
"As the Seraph of wisdom I quite literally created the fundamental systems of everything. Time, space, logic, you name it. I'm pretty adept with runes. As to how I can summon them as a mortal, well as long as you have a mind, all you have to do is visualise them. No need for energy. A lot of magic civilizations rely on such concepts to cast spells." He calmly answered, his gaze holding a form of vicissitude very few could match.
"Still such control over runes isn't normal. It's as if they're a part of you. Even beasts, who are supposed to be the most naturally attuned to runes, don't have such control."
"All that time I spent in the void could've helped take my control to a new height, I'm not sure though. That period feels like a blur to me. Or I could just have a natural high affinity to runes. Who knows."
"Anyways, time to go back home."
With a wave of his hand, Orion summoned multiple spell circles as they immediately arranged themselves into a complex three dimensional formation.
"Create a void hole at its centre. Make sure none of your void essence leaks out or I'll have to rebuild the entire formation. Though it's not hard, it takes a toll on my mind."
Having heard his brother's words, Vulkron carefully gathered his azure void essence into a tiny singularity that dissipated the laws and concepts of the world, forming a bridge to the void.
WHOOOSH!
In a simple swoop, the duo exited the realm of dreams.
Without wasting time, Vulkron's figure shone with an even brighter azure light as he void jumped back to their home.
A blinding light assaulted Orion's eyes before it cleared up.
"That was faster than usual. Alright let's go eat-"
Looking around, a deep frown appeared on Orion's magnificent face.
"You bastard…"

Every month, all the leaders of the Heavenly Clans held a routine meeting to discuss the various topics and issues they had to deal with as the Hegemonies of the Chaos Heavens.
The locations of these meetings regularly switched between the varying leader's ancestral lands and this month just happened to take place at the Erebus' divine land.
The meeting place was a magnificent hall that stood amidst a verdant forest full of life and vigour as all the leaders and pillars sat cross legged around a gigantic table.
Multiple maids routinely came and went as they brought a plethora of delicacies for them to enjoy as they debated.
"So what do you suggest we do about it? The dent they are putting in our revenue is non-existent. I think we should keep them around to slowly shift the negative view the public has on us. The past few wars were so sanglant most of them follow any idiot claiming to be able to free them from our so called tyranny."
"While I do hear your point, I disagree with it. Having such a chaos factor just laying around is too dangerous-"
Instantly, the senses of all the beings present within this room primed up as they immediately released their killing intent.
Someone was invading.
In the beautiful blue skies of the Verdant Haven World, a grand obsidian portal opened up.
Coming out of this portal was a huge beast that seemed to be a hybrid between a dragon and a celestial whale.
The aura this beast exuded was of such ruthlessness and violence all the beings present couldn't help but narrow their eyes.
Sat atop this beast was a being clouded by thick clouds of dream essence, its purity unlike anything they'd ever seen before.
Being stuck in this awkward situation, Orion couldn't help but sigh as he ran off.
"I'll let you deal with the mess!" He told Eros as he disappeared.
The sequence of events had been way too quick and confusing for any of them to truly understand what was happening.
Sat at the helm of the table, a myriad of veins sprouted on Eros' forehead.
"I apologise for the interruption. That was my son, he's a bit of a troublemaker. Anyways, let's continue."
——
Though he'd manage to escape at that moment, this didn't stop his parents from heavily scolding him later on.
Since both Eros and Hera already knew everything about his past lives, Orion quickly explained all that happened and rapidly shifted the blame onto Vulkron.
After a long while of talking and deflecting he was forgiven but the frown on his father's face still hadn't disappeared.
"Did you feel it?" Asked Eros as they headed out of Orion's room.
"Mhm. The dream aura around him rivals the raw power of a Saint yet he has no control over it. This could be very dangerous." Answered Hera as her eyes narrowed.
"He needs to start cultivating, quickly. The seal won't last that much longer. If it wasn't for his runic expertise he could've been stuck there forever." He said with a grim expression.
Hera's heart immediately dropped as she heard this, her mind being plunged into a well of chaos.
Before Eros could even attempt to calm her down, she immediately vanished, already on her way to prepare the necessary resources for Orion to cultivate.
With a sigh, Eros kept walking down the Hall he was in as the peaceful moonlight rays passing through the high ceiling windows of their residence highlighted his otherworldly face.
"From now on, keep a close eye on him."
From Eros' shadow, a figure draped in amethyst robes shot out as they immediately kneeled in front of him.
"Yes sir. From what his assigned shadow division reported, they didn't even notice his disappearance. A dream clone seemed to have taken his place. I later confirmed it myself." Respectfully reported Noya, Eros' shadow servant.
All Heavenly clans had a shadow division which helped them with protection, information gathering, reconnaissance and more.
"Is that so? From now on I want you to personally take care of him until he gets his affinity under control. Report any anomaly to either me or Hera. Also make sure this doesn't leak."
"Understood." She answered as she melted back into Eros' shadow.
As he kept walking, a mysterious smile bloomed onto his face.
Stopping in front of one of the many windows of this corridor, Eros' gaze lost itself in the horizon as old memories resurfaced.
Times that seemed all too distant where his own little brother underwent the same problems as Orion with the only difference being his nightmare affinity flashed within his mind as a wave of melancholy overtook him.
This melancholy quickly turned into bitterness as other memories surfaced but he quickly pushed it all away as he teleported away.
