Chapter 6 Getting her a boyfriend

Nanxing did not take Wu Di seriously. She told him that she did not fancy him, which shocked him. How can she not be in love with him?

He went to see Nanxing's best friend at university and quizzed her about Nanxing's love life. WuDi was advised that the best way to connect with Nanxing was to show some emotion like crying on her shoulder and telling her his deepest secret.

That same day, he asked to see Nanxing and cried on her shoulder, telling him about his sad life at the palace.

It did not work because Nanxing was too worried and disappointed that Zichen had killed the main character in his book, Su Yu, who was well-loved by everyone.

WuDi was perplexed why Nanxing was more worried about someone a book rather than him pouring his heart out to her.

The death of Su Yu was really a big deal because Zichen started to get death threats, and Nanxing was determined to put a stop to it.

WuDi was able to restrain the perpetrator.

Nanxing was made permanent staff/assistant to Zichen.

Nanxing was so grateful to WuDi for helping her become a permanent employee at X- Culture. She treated him to fun time and dinner.

WuDi, on the other hand, thought that it would not be bad if he could make Nanxing and Zichen fall in love, so he gave Nanxing another make-over. He told Nanxing that she was feeling like a numbskull in front of Zichen because she was feeling inferior. But with branded and better outfits, it would give her confidence.

Nanxing is so gullible. When WuDi told her to seize the moment and stay close to Zichen, she did and stayed until almost midnight at work.

When Zichen finally leaves, he and Nanxing get trapped inside the lift as Xiao Wudi as planned.
