The Thane frowned and he looked at Anubis as though ready to attacker. Right now, his life span was rapidly depleting. He had no intention of allowing this to continue.

Anubis was on the other hand not bothered that the Thane was angry. In his eyes, this mortal creature should have knelt down that moment he appeared before its insignificant self.

For it to now show anger toward him was already reaching the limits of tolerance .He had been ordered by the supreme god, Ra to come and pick up these people but he still did not understand why this was so.They were nothing special and as far as he could tell ,the supreme god had nothing to do with them .They were not his creations and there was nothing about them that should have attracted the lord's attention .
