DOWN IN DEEP THOUGHTS

The sound of the crickets and other creatures during the night. The boisterous breathing of his tired soldiers in their slumber caused Mackis to stay lucid even at midnight.

The news about Burlington was like a lucid drug for him to stay awake this whole night.

“The coronation and the wedding of the king is half summer from now.”

Who is the king? Half summer? If I am the king, the news must be referring to me! My parents had one child and that’s me!

Can anyone be king? Relatives? Any member of the royal family?
